Our client asked us to design a pair of sloped cellar windows for her property. They also needed to act as a fire escape. Our original design wasn't practical, so we had to re-think the idea and came up with an alternative solution. We had to make slight changes to some of the window structure in order to install suitable hinges and stays. Once the windows had been delivered our client wasn't 100% happy with the finished, altered appearance, so we routered some fluted designs into the window surrounds, and we agree that it looks much better.
These were manufactured from Sapele, a hardwood, and sent out sprayed to a primed finish.
